Kort beskrivelse:

API 5CT K55 foringsrør tjener til at transportere både råolie og naturgas fra olie- og gaslaget til overfladerørledningen, efter at boringen er afsluttet.Det er i stand til at bære det pres, som udnyttelsesprocessen giver.Efter at den ydre overflade er belagt med et beskyttende lag, er slangen mærket i overensstemmelse med API 5CT-standarden og fastspændt med metalbælte.

Anvendelse af K55 oliehus:
Til oliebrøndboring bruges den hovedsageligt til at understøtte akselvæggen under boring og efter afslutning for at sikre normal drift af boreprocessen og hele brønden efter afslutning.
